What
are Patron Subscribers?
As
publisher of specialist titles Brawdy Books has a Patron Subscriber List which is essentially a method whereby we
can notify prospective purchasers of forthcoming publications well in advance of
actual publication.
We
will not constantly bombard you with literature and if you are not interested in
notification of future titles please let us know and your name will be removed
from our Mailing List.
Experience
has shown that previous publications are also in demand by newcomers to Brawdy's
publications and unfortunately many have been disappointed when their requested book is 'out of print'.
How
does it work?

Previous
purchasers are notified in advance of publication and asked if they are
interested in the forthcoming title.

If
the answer is 'no' they will not be contacted again until the next title is
about to enter the production stage. They will then be notified.

If
the answer is 'yes' you are offered the chance to pre-order the forthcoming
title at a preferential rate. The price of the book will be clearly stated
and will not be changed once your order has been received. Your name and
general locality are then entered into the front section of the book in the
List of Patron Subscribers section. (If you do not want your name to be
entered into the List but wish to take advantage of the pre-publication
price this can be indicated on the initial notification of forthcoming
publication form.)

You
will be invoiced and we must receive your payment prior to publication in
order to benefit from the preferential rate. You will receive
your book within 7-14 days of our receiving the books from the Printer.

All
cheques received prior to publication go into a special Client Account.

Once
published the book can be purchased either direct from Brawdy Books at the
cover price plus post and packing, or from a retail outlet such as Ottakers,
Watermans and smaller local shops in West Wales.

Books
may also be ordered from this Website, but as a small specialist publisher
it is not viable for us to offer on-line debit facilities.
