The Francis Jones Archive

Brawdy Books Research Services

The Francis Jones Archive is one of the largest collections of Welsh historical, genealogical and heraldic information outside the National Library of Wales, family history societies or universities. Its formation took over 70 years of research from one of Wales’s most prolific and brilliant historians.

Much of the collated material comes from Parish records, the Public Record Office, the College of Arms, etc, etc, and from a life-long research of source material over a vast range of subjects.

Our minimum initial Research Fee is £25, and £15 per hour thereafter. This includes photocopying, phone calls, etc incurred during research.

The material can also be supplied in Acrobat Reader format on CD at small additional charge [a copy of Acrobat Reader is included free on the CD] .
